Conference Fee:

All those who would like to take part in the conference, pay this registration fee, so all the incidental expenses related to snacks, lunch, dinner, proceedings, flyers etc., can be met by the conference organizers. This is irrespective of whether you are a paper presenter or participant.  Everyone's support in this respect is solicited.

Pay $50 for Incidental fee.

Conference registration is closed and we are not sending any more letters to anyone for visa purposes.

Paper selection has been completed.

Conference Program Committee finished selecting the abstracts that can be presented in one of the technical sessions of the conference.  All authors whose abstracts were selected have been notified by email.  If anyone didn't yet receive any communication from the CPC chair Dr. K. Kalyanasundaram about their abstract, please be advised that the selection committee could not select their abstract for one reason or another.  All the paper presenters are requested to submit their full paper before 30th of April, so the conference program can include their presentation in one of the sessions.  If we do not receive the full paper by 30th of April, we are afraid that those authors won't be able to present their paper in the conference.  So, it is absolutely necessary that all the authors whose abstracts have been selected submit their full paper by the deadline.

All those who require a Visa to enter the US have been provided with a Visa letter already.  If anyone is interested in participating in the conference, please pay the conference fee of $50 using the link provided in the registration page: http://www.thetamillanguage.com/registration

As with the earlier conferences, all submissions must be in electronic form. For papers with content in Tamil or bilingual, please use Unicode encoding. Papers presented in any other encodings are liable for automatic rejection.

Conference Program Committee will review all submissions and select papers for presentation at various technical sessions. As in the past, extended abstracts (max 4 pages) of all accepted papers for the conference will be published in the Conference Book and also in electronic form in a CD/DVD.

Authors whose papers have been selected for presentation at the conference will be informed by 15th April 2011.  Organizers of the conference assume that submission of a paper for possible presentation at TI2011 implies attendance at the conference and presentation in person by at least one author of the paper. Proxy presentation by third parties may be permitted at extreme circumstances, but the presenter needs to be familiar with the work and should be able to answer questions where possible.

One or two page abstracts of papers for presentation are to be sent to the INFITT conference secretariat’s email ti2011@infitt.org with a copy to ti2011-cpc@infitt.org. Conference Program Committee will send a prompt confirmation of the receipt of the abstract.
